I've been thinking about doing this too..but not for AutoX (Solo 2). They have such tight rules and regulations on classes and other stuff, that it seems to be too competitive and less about fun. I like the idea of having a GYMKHANA..the big difference is that nobody gets to know how the track config is, until just before the event starts. Drivers get to look at a map for a short time and they have to REMEMBER how the track goes. I've heard of other versions of the sport where they set up cones..you have to go thru each one, but the order is up to you. And other versions where drift/donuts is the emphasis... I'm sure there'd be other combinations...and this would make it a lot more fun than the days-old version of AutoX IMO.
