aren't the emergency flashers and turn signals on the same bulbs? maybe there is a bad relay? wouldn't hurt to check the fuses and relays. There are schematics around... if you dont have a book, the local libraries have an online auto databe you can access online i fyou have a library card,, you can find and print the schematics..
