The good part about a sway bar is when you go around a corner and compress the outside suspension. It compresses the inside suspension leveling out the car.
But when you hit a bump on one side and the suspension compresses. The sway bar doesnt know the difference between that and going around a corner. So it compresses the suspension on the other side. That effectively increases your spring rate. Makes you feel the bumps a bit more.
