Throttle Body Problem?

Hey everyone, i am a new member to this forum and also a new owner of a 5speed 91 Mr2

The problem I have been experiencing is when i start the car, in neutral, the rpms, move up and down between 1000 and up to 2500, but after drving for a little while it neutrals at its normal rpm. And also sometimes while im driving the rpm's go anywhere from 1500 to 3500 rpms. And acceleration is greatly decreased. Is this due to a defective throttle body? Or an electrical problem. Any information will be greatly appreciated, and if anyone has an extra throttle body lieing around and looking to sell let me know.
Thanks
Chris

it sounds like you have a vacumn leak somewhere....but you also mention that while you're driving..revs will go up but no acceleration....that sounds like the clutch is slipping....

Bouncing idle is typically a sign of air in the coolant system.
Make sure your coolant is properly filled and bled.

ICV broken or need cleaning. Most likely true for the 5S-FE, don't remember if the 3S-GTE ogt ICV or not.
