My First MR2

Ironically being a honda man myself having owned several civics in my time i appear to have gone renegade and fallen for the beautiful lines of the MR2 especially the Rev 3 Turbo.... I'm from the UK looking to purchase a Import i have a big wallet and want a nice one rumors abound £400 for a cam belt etc i understand the comlicated issue of owning a rear engined car...

Really I would like to know the PRO's and CON's. It seems to be a lot of power for the money...

So your ideas links ETC.....

Thanks its going to be around 4-6 months after a lot of research before i purchase a car but i like to know what i'm getting myself into

Same situation here. Ive owned an Acura Legend and an Integra, and I just felt it was time to try out the other side of things, i.e, stock turbo with rwd

Great bang for the buck. the mid engine rear wheel drive design makes for superb handling. a great platform for building lots of reliable HP. lots of aftermarket performance parts.. great looks.
it's kinda cramped in the engine bay, but alot of work can be DIY...fun as hell to drive and a chick magnet... just the tip of the iceberg.
