I am currently running 10 pounds od boost on my mr2 and wondering if putting 50 shot of nitrous would be dangerous ! so please let me know what u guys think !
i would rather spend the money on a bigger turbo setup rather than nitrous...i would only use nitrous if i had a huge turbo that needed some help spooling.....
what is your current mod list??...i would invest in an aftermarket IC before i would pay for a nitrous setup..that way you can turn up the stock boost and not worry so much....IMO...nitrous isn't very reliable unless its done properly...with proper fuel management...a 50 shot should be okay but i wouldn't go any higher....i'm just not a big fan of it...it gets to be expensive re-filling the bottle weekly..
Anything used improperly can be dangerous to your engine (or you!).
When properly used, nitrous can offer a wonderful boost to power.
Personally, I plan on looking at nitrous after I make a 10 second pass with just boost.
To me nitrous is a bit extra to push you beyond the edge of performance.
It is not a great option, IMO, for just adding a bit of power to an unmodified or BPU car.
No one can tell you for certain if it will or will not blow up your engine.
How would they know the condition of your engine? or how well set up your nitrous system is?
well now my car has a hks fuel cutt defender and a greedy speed cut thats the only modification i have now and another thing what is a IC and IMO ? am new to this car performance thing so please educate me !!
