Clutch engagement fluctuating

my clutch engagement has always been has always been about 11/2" from the floor but after about 4 months of owning the car i notice the engagement is getting higher and higher. its like 2" now. might not sound like much but u notice it when i'm riding clutch expecting engagement to be where it normaly is. is this a sign of worn clutch or do i need to adjust master and slaves?

I would start by checking Clutch master and slave. maybe piston seals are worn.. how many miles on them? How old is the fluid? could be contaminated. maybe change it, but sometimes the dirt in the fluid is the only thing from keeping the seals seated. so if you changed it , the problem could become worse. but the clutch master and slave are usually the 1st thing to go...
just changed both of mine out @150K miles. my fluid was contaminated too. so I drained and flushed the system with alcohol and refilled with new fluid and the problem became worse. I changed both Clutch master and slave.. it's all good now

If your engagement point is getting higher, then I suspect clutch wear. If your engagement point were going lower, and eventually to the point where the clutch would no longer engage, then I'd say either the master or slave cylinder, or even a clutch line. I don't think there's anything to worry about, but you can adjust the engagement point with the master cylinder pushrod.

If you want your engagement point lower, turn the pushrod to the left (after loosening the 12mm nut). The pedal won't feel that great, but you can also adjust the pedal height to fix that, as well.

For instructions, if you need them: Online BGB

Doesn't it do that after the break-in period?
