I havent really searched on this forum that heard but please, can someone take a picture of where any cargo would go in an mk2 mr2.

ive searched google, all the pics of the ones for sale on autotrader, etc. but no one has a picure of the cargo room.

i just need to know if it has ENOUGH room to put my books(for school) and some other random stuff that i may put in there.

thanks in advance

yes, there's room. mk2's have a large rear trunk in comparison to the mk1!

books can go in the front seat if no passenger.....rear trunk will hold a large gym bag with room to spare....and if you really need some more space....the front trunk has a bit of room also avail if you remove the spare tire.....

when I bought my '92 n/a new, the brochure said"trunk capacity can carry 2 golf bags". I just went outside and measured it for you. the opening is 44" long by 17"wide.
inside it's 53"L x 18"w x 17" d. hope that helps. not a big trunk but better than my Spyder!

You'll fit. I promise. The MK2 is surprisingly spacious inside.

Storeage space is for people not concerned with performance

Mk1's are small, but nimble
But there is enough room to store my helmet and the rest of the tools and stuff I take to races (not including tires) in the trunk alone. It's fairly deep, and just a little wider than a backpack.
