sparkplugs for 4agze??

Hi

i'm looking for sparkplugs for my 4agze gen 3 JDM.
I found what the orriginal are. BCPR6EP-N8

Someone told me the irridium are way better??
So what is the gapsize of the original plugs?
I found the NGK irridium type BCPR6EIX-11 . Is this the right one?
Ow and Fensport told me to get it in grade 7 becouse i'm using a hks pulley.
What do you think?

Like to hear.

gr D.

i use the BCPR7ES-11 or stocking # 1095. i am using the HKS pulley too and that plug is 2 steps colder. i don't go for the iridiums as they are crazy expensive and with the steel/copper plugs being as inexpensive as they are, i can afford to have the plugs changed quarterly and still have money left over compared to how much i would pay for iridium plugs once.

I've found that Iridiums perform much better for most Toyotas, not too sure about the cars. The 4Runners and Tacomas are very picky about spark plugs and wires. Usually it's highly recommended on several forums to run Denso or NGK

ok, but can you explain how they are? i mean, i have done EXTENSIVE research with spark plugs. i bought about $200.00USD worth of just about every plug i could get my hands on...had a stretch of road and a Vericom computer to measure 'performance'...found NO diffierence in 'performance'...all done with laboratory-like precision and kept same parameters. then i did all of the tests with another car. NO CHANGES.

Denso doesn't seem to have a good heat range selection here in the U.S. but i'll bet they might in Japan. that's the only reason i tend to use NGK for my cars. everything else uses stock heat ranges for plugs.

BTW: BCPR7ES-11 is an NGK plug.
and i have 7 Toyotas...van, trucks, cars, SUV...

No I cannot explain exactly how, I'm just going by other board member's recommendation/experiences. With your own test results, I stand corrected and applaud you for your efforts in testing it for yourself. Thanks.

Standard plugs being changed at reasonable times is ideal for both your car and pocket... I wouldn't be going nuts over iridium plugs unless you have a fully built motor, high compression ration, turbo, and very delicate fuel mixture... Just go with regular plugs.
