91 Mr2 Cupholders?

Has anyone come up with an idea for making cup holders in the mr2, not sure if 91+ models have them but mine sure doesnt. not really a big deal but a minor annoyance for those of us how chew and dont wwanna drive a manual with a spitter in your lap.

There's the JDM cup holders that fill 1 DIN slot. I think partznet.com has them.

I installed one of those and it's OK, but the dash is kinda slanted and the drink cup, can, etc. is slanted too. I hate it! at first I had it above the CD head, but stuff would leak onto the stereo. so I put the holder below the CD Player and now you have to pull the cup/can out of the way to access the player. WTF, but better than nothing -I guess

Simplest solution is never let any beverage containers that don't have a screw on cap into your car

That being said; a friend gave me a window hanging Godzilla cup holder (for my little Japanese car) that I use on road trips.
