So here is some good news on my car situation:
Step One: Dad crashes car
Step Two: Dad feels bad and takes wife and younger son to drive totaled MR2 back up to Dave at Paautoracing
Step Three: On the way back to FL, they hear from Brandon in KY who just so happens to be selling his MR2 shell
Step Four: They go to KY and purchase new shell and drive it back to Dave on the same trip
this is where we are right now... so sometime tomorrow Dave will have all the things (except the guage cluster in my closet) to proceed in fixing my dreams.
So we are going for round two on the swap, wish me luck, and hopes that Dave doesnt stumble across anything that my parents may have overlooked with the shell.
