2nd Generation Inner tie rod

hi all, i went get my car aligned today, the mechanic told me that i needed to replace my front inner tie rod on the passenger side, my question is , since i am to replace the inner tie rod, what else should i be looking to replace under that area as well? also, should i get oem or aftermarket part as for inner tie rod? thanks in advance.

Doesnt the MR2 lack front inner tie rods? I thought it used the steering rack :/ correct me if im wrong.

No, it has inner tie rods. I had to replace mine a while back as well.

Might as well do the other side as the same time, and check out the outer tie rod ends as well. It's only a matter of time before they go, too. Another thing you might want to check out are the ball joints. They wear out usually around the same time as tie rod ends.

can't go wrong woth OEM...as far as the Ebay ones,I don't know anyone that has tried/used them .

On suspension stuff, I'd go oem. Stay away from ebay specials.
