Hybrid Turbo?

What do you guys think about the hybrid turbo?
I was thinking of doing it on my mr2 right now im running 14.7 psi and my goal is 300 at the wheels. is this attainable with a hybrid turbo? Thanks.

by hybrid I assume you mean T3/T4? very popular, very reliable and easily able to produce the 300rwhp for sure-with the supporting mods... thats in my future plans for my '91..

the 300rwhp goal is easily attainable...with the right turbo...extensive supporting mods...my advice to you...if you don't want to break the bank...go simple...get a ct-27 or ct-20b..exhaust....IC...turn up the boost and enjoy...any further than that is gonna cost alot of coin..

can a ct-26 ic exhaust and turn up the boost to about 13psi get me 300 horse power?

Click "dyno" and get an idea what is possible

A CT26 will not get you too 300 rwhp.
