Newb: please help

Hey guys my name is jason and i am a noobie, i currently have an 03 srt4 and want to get rid of it and after consideration i have chosen to get an mr2 and was wondering if i could get some info on the different ones and what i should get for example, what ever i get has to have turbo so do you guys suggest getting one with turbo, getting a non turbo and putting an aftermarket turbo or doing a complete motor swap with a turbo motor, i eventually want to be in the low 11's maybe high 10's< and could you guys also give some sites that sell mods for the mr2 so i could look at different stuff and compare. Thanks alot appreciate it.

Read up here on power adding: http://www.mrcontrols.com/index.html

Go with an MR2 Turbo if you want a drag car, it will save you headaches galore.

Future was refering to JekylandHyde's website: http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/

As far as mods go, just google for them, or read up at www.mr2oc.com

Good luck finding the right car

welcome to TN...get the turbo to start with. like Drifting Dane says"save yourself alot of headache". it's great platform for building power. the stock engine can easily be modify to run 15psi with just a few mods and a little cash...

this question has been asked and answered over and over here. my self included.
One of our premiere members-JeckylandHyde- is running 22 psi consistantly on a stock block/internals w/200,000 miles+ on it !400+ hp and running low 11's.-with all the supporting mods of course. what does that tell you?. keeping detonation in check is paramount to achieving these #'s. proper cooling, timing, fuel ratio and tuning, etc.. check out his website. lots of info there.
