Friggen Door Panel!!

My speakers are shot and I wanted to replace them, so I proceed to remove the door panel... remove all the screws, unclip all the electrical connections... and pop out the door panel from the door itself.. but it doesn't want to come off... the top part.. the window lining, the plastic part where it seals with the base of the window... does not want to budge. I shook it a bit and the silver trim near the tweeter side started to come apart from the panel itself. WTF is going on? I read in a faq that if you haven't taken the panel off.. it will need some work, but this is ridiculous. I dont want to tear the door panel off... someone help.

btw, it is a 91

You have to slide the panel up from the door.

Press up from the bottom of the panel and it should slide out.
