Tranny oil

hey i was wondering where i would locate the drain bolts so i could change the tranny oil i looked in the manual but there are no pics. Thanks

once you get under the car, they're pretty easy to find. the fill plug is facing the front of the car on the transmission, about 1/3 the way up. the drain plug is facing the left side (driver's side) of the car, all the way at the bottom. they're both 24mm plugs, but they can be quite tight.

make sure to take the fill plug out first, then once you have the fill plug out, take the drain plug out and drain the oil.

there is no transfer case. a transfer case is used in 4 wheel drive vehicles to send power to the front wheels and to give another gear reduction in "low range".
