Issues with the 2002 MR2 Spyder - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

My wife and I have an 02 MR2 Spyder. Today it is in the shop for the fourth time with transmission problems. The computer has been replaced and it has been reinitialized twice. I am starting to get a little worried here. The car is out of warranty by 3 months, but the dealership agreed to repair the car this time. Has anyone else had this problem?

does your Spyder have the SMT? mine is manual. and no probs there..
the ONLY prob I've had with my Spyder is when it's sitting outside in the rain, water finds it's way in somewhere. I can't find a leak anywhere .and no visible leaks when I'm driving it.. drives me crazy...
