2nd Generation T3/T4 Question

I recently purchased a new t3/t4 turbo my my mr2 . I plan on making a custom turbo kit with a little help of the ebay parts and some welding. I got it mostly planned out but I have 2 questions . I dont know the correct terminology but there is a hole on the exhaust side for the internal wastegate but I will be using and external. Will that be a problem? ..... The next question is what to do with water hoses that cool the turbo. The new turbo doesnt have the "water jackets" that our normal ct26 has. I no there wont be a problem with the new turbo cuz ill jus schedule more frequent oil changes but the problem is what should i do with the water lines after i got the new turbo in? I no its not a big deal I jus need some ideas thrown at me cuz i would like to get this project started.

??? Does the turbo you bought have an internal wastegate currently, or does it just have a dump hole/pipe for it? either way you would need to plug that hole to keep exhaust gasses from bypassing the turbine, or use it for the external wastegate.

2nd Generation Turbo

No the turbo does not currently come with an internal wastegate but I dont plan on using one anyway. It does have the hole for it though. I dont think i should even bother covering it up because it wont interfere.
