Electrical ProblemSSS (help!)

Quote:
Gahh, ok. So 91 MR2 turbo.

So a while back the windows decided they didn't want to work anymore. As it turns out the whole driver side control panel wasn't working. Did a little snooping around to find that the wires (or atleast some of them) were pinched. So this morning i took out the good ol' saudering kit and spliced and saudered a few of the wires that were pinched. But now I'm practically in an equally same prdicament than from which i began.

I got the power locks to work again, along with the power mirrors, and the passenger side window ONLY. But what dosen't work is the driver side window, clock & radio, and now my alarm beeps 3 times indicating that something isn't close, but im pretty positive everything is closed.

Any advice?

A little more into the radio and clock tho. See, after I saudered some of the wires and the driver side window wouldnt work i left the car on (Radio was on but car wasn't running) to see if i could wiggle the wires some more to get the drive side window to work. It was then the radio just shut off. Radio and clock only. Short yes? I checked all the fuses and they all seemed okay?
Alright. 20 views and no answer?

Anywayz, did a little more snooping around. And i fixed the driver side window. Apparently yet another lose connection... which this MR2 seems to have alot of.

As for the clock & radio, apparently there's a single fuse in which all of those are connected. So i check on my honda for the fuse for the radio (which was a 15a) and tested it out with all of the 15a fuse behind the frunk release and still nothing.

But apparently there's a second fuse in which all of these are connected to in the frunk? Which one is that?

EDIT: just reread your post. Did you get the windows/locks all working?

I don't know about the radio wiring, but I've coped with the door/window issues before.

Did you check the wiring harness that sits in the rubber tube between the driver's door and the frame? The wires in there are almost always the culprit with these issues. That tube catches and holds a surprising amount of water and the wires get corroded. Several of mine were actually completely broken they were so bad.
