I know this has been up before, but i need help bad what are some good staggered wheels to get or some other good wheels to get that arent too expensive.... I wanna have money to do a lil suspension....
what you are willing to spend determines what you should buy.....you can also try to find a used set...theres always a nice set of volks or SSRs for sale on the main board...
Im acually lookin at wheels too =D. But offset has to deal with how far you wheel will stick out from the car, the lower the offset the farther it will stick out. But i cant give a suggestion on what to get without knowing what you wanna do with your car, and what you like. Are you gonna be gettin 17" or what? Do you want wide tires or normal? Do you want front bigger than back? What kind of driving are you gonna do, or wanna do(auto x, drag, etc)?
Eh, welli guess thats pretty much what im gonna do, so, id get 17x7F and 17x8 rear. You could always go bigger in rear but then there is more of a chance of having rubbing. For tires im getting 215/35 17F and 245/35 17R. Im gettin the Kumho ECSTA MX, Because its only $128 each. And the wheels are around 150-200 each. So it shouldnt cost more than 1300 total to get them on. http://www.edgeracing.com/wheels/5zigen/ Heres a website for wheels, they have more than the 5zigen brand but i like them the most =D. The first site ive found that acually has both 17x7 and 17x8 for a wheel.
Exodeus, if I were you, I'd go with 215/40/17 front and 245/40/17 rear. The 40 series will easily fit with the sizes you want, and it will look a hell of a lot better.
That's the size I have and they look like this...............
Just my $0.02
