Actually it's the government safety regulations that do not allow Toyota to sell the MR-S (MR-2 Spyder) here in Canada. I think they said the door is too low or something it doesn't meet the safety requirement. :sad:

I kept telling my friend down in the states though, buy the car and drive it to Toronto! People are going to check it out like mad!

It think the car is okay. I'm not really a fan of the styling, and I like torque. However, it looks like a fun car to boot around town in.

Thanks. I've been to the track a few times, and the car has handled great. I wish I could go more, but my motor won't make it if I do. I'd like to go at least once a month next year.

Anyways, you have a really nice MR2. I heard that there is a MR2 meeting / track day at Shannonville tomorrow (Thurs.), right? I think I will be heading down with a friend of mine tomorrow in a Corolla.

I think he also owns a second generation MR2. Do you know him? Regardless, I hope to see you there tomorrow.
