Help with MR2

Hi,
My dad has a MR2 non turbo rev1 import from Japan, the speedo only shows 115mph or 184km/h. Its automatic, and once we had it off the clock and were crusing at about 5000rpm, roughly how fast were we going?

Thanks

Si

wow 115 at 3500?? mine hits 115 at 4000-4500. probably closer to 4500. But my guess at 5000 for my car anyway..which tops out at 140 on speedometer..uhhhh..5000..uhhh..125? I havent taken min past 115 due to the extremely bad tires..which =VERY rough ride and VERY hard to control. Well, yeah probably around 125-130. But its an automatic and i should kill ya for it..=P. And an automatic is probably different. As shown by your 115 being at 3500rpm. And if its stop you accually have a cut off at 127 i believe..but that is in a manual i dunno if autos are the same in that area or not.

The speedo is NOT accurate, especially at higher speeds.
