Since u all said the Safc2 wasnt a good idea i zeroed everything out and am only adding a lil bit of fuel up top like 2 %. Ive found a guy that is goin to buy it and my other friend is selling a greddy emanage with support tool and harness.... do you all think that will be a much more effcient way to tune my car or do you think i should wait n get something else
if 300rwhp is your goal....get rid of that ct-20b...start saving for some sort of EMS..stop trying to go the black box route of tuning to make 300rwhp...you can only trick the stock ecu so much...honestly..if you don't want to spend a whole ton of money...just add an upgraded IC to you list of mods and be happy with the power there.....if not....that 300 mark won't come cheap...
If you read the power primer what you'll see is that reaching 250-275 can be done with a 3sgte on a fairly reasonable budget. Get much over that and the price tag goes up exponentially.

Yeah I followed the power primer to the "T". Ordered every part on there by name and its all waiting ot go on... 275whp is exactly what Im looking at.. I would like to stay daily driveable.
So, back to why the S-AFC isnt good enouhg?? Ive got the adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and gauge.

my 2 cents, 300 Whp Can be had with a turbo upgrade an IC upgrade fuel rail, supra injectors and an emanage to control it all. We have seen the emanage overide the stock ECU to just about any tunning need in several cars. Its possibly the best tunnable piggy back in the market right now under $700 just find some one local to you that has experience with tunning it and you will be good to go.
Tony the owner of Upgrades here in west virginia uses it on a bunch of cars and his 280 rwhp rx8 used to have it on there so i think im gonna buy it seeing as i get everything i need including harnesses and software all for 300 bucks... thank you.... thats what i wanted to here and i know that turbo isnt gonna get me newhere but at this point that is what i have.... my next upgrades are greddy intercooler then i plan on getting rid of that turbo.... I never said i planned on keeping the ct20b.... i was just asking if the emanage was i buy that would last once i got to a higher hp lever... thanks for answering my questions
Man for $300 there should have never been any doubt. just so that you know turbonetics makes a turbo upgrade for that ct turbo so u can run the stock rear with a t04 front 60-1 should be just fine and dandy if u want to make more than 300 hp one day but a t04 front is more than enough for 300 HP, greddy IC kit is also a great idea but the tnetics IC kit comes with a fan built into the cooler. look into it i have sold both those kits to multiple cars both with great results. good luck
And as far as the turbo upgrade you can contact them directly for all the tech info and call me when your ready for the price. Ill make sure to give you the best deal I can, we are trying to break into the toyota market. net_sales@gofastdepot.com is me
well ive got a fan installed on my intercooler and a switch to turn it on or off... so i figured greddy was a lil bit cheaper id get that then just most the fan on it.... Im gonna have to get a job before i can afford the turbo stuff or intercooler... my funds are dwindling
