just get a rear clip, there will be alot of little things that you will need. Plus some of the n/a parts arent strong enough for the 3sgte engine, so just get a clip and be happy..=P

Driveshafts, ball joints, control arms, fuel pump to name a few things. You might want to search here and at www.mr2oc.com, this topic has been covered extensively in both places.

get the rear clip, it will save alot of time and work.
the intake piping and intercooler piping will be the worst, you might have to modify the body harness to fit the 3sgt ecu. (a had to do this when i replaced the 5sfe by the 3sgte in my celica. same engines as in the mr2) you will need axles form a turbo mr2 or you can use the 5sfe trans and axles.

So I take it that the 3sgte engine clip does not include the beefer axles?

The clip does include the axles (or at least it should). The clip should have EVERYTHING you need to do the swap, except maybe a new clutch (always a good idea while you have that stuff out and workable).
