It's alive!

Finally the motor was put in yesterday and the beast woke up from his comma! It sound pretty nice. After working numerous hours, yes it did wake up. I Just wanted to share this with you guys. Can't wait until the motor is broken in so that I can start racing.

MRQturbo, I did a 2.2 stroker for my car. 2 years without a 2 is 2 long. My car was out for a good 3 months and that felt like forever. Well, yesterday I test drove my car and its running clean . With a couple of set backs, the car was finaly ready. Now Im more anxious to see the true potential once the motor is broken in. Im happiest as shit! haahahaha, im back bigger and stronger than ever!

Congradulations man. I'd be interested in how much torque you gained with those extra couple of liters.

That'd be one hell of a stroker! Wow, with enough displacement for 4 liters in a four cylinder engine the piston heads must look like dinner platters!

You must mean those extra millilitres

The head did look pretty tempting to leave untouched. I did use some soft sandpaper to smooth out the intake entrance on the head. That won't make a difference though. I tried convincing my dad to to buy high performance valves because a valve had a dip on it that could only be seen when held up to the light. But, my dad didn't fall for it so we machined the valve. As for the rest, its stock. Im just happy everything is gong well.
