Is it true that you can weld some parts of your tranny and gears so that you will have some sort of cheap, but very durable limited slip diff.? If it is, can someone give me a site to check up on?

LSD can be added as an aftermarket solution but it takes a little more than just welding some stuff in the tranny.

ya i was thinking of doing that but i was just going to basically put in a sw20 rear and have it already in there..this would be if i do buy a 3sgte and then i will try to jsut get a whole clip

Welding most lkiely result in a fully locked diff. I can't see welded parts slipping.
