"Hibernating"

You'll all have a chuckle at this i'm sure - i've never driven my MR2, not once (and yes it's in perfect working order). Had it for over a month now, and I'm really like a dog in it's cage at the races waiting to drive the thing!

I've never learnt to drive as i havn't had a need...... until I saw my MR2 for sale at a great price. So I bought it and in the last month i've pretty much learnt to drive (passed my Theory test this morning - the Uk driving test process is crazy compared to the US I believe) and will be booking my practical test soon.

Yes, my first car will be my 2ltr MR2 Gt and I'm learning in a 1.2 fiesta.

Once i pass - you may never hear from me again!

Wow! That's some crazy stuff right there! Hey, are there any websites that would contain some of the materiels you use in your driver's ed? i'd lov eto see how it compares to ours.

If you've got any questions about the car or about driving, feel free to ask!

"Frankenstein"

It's a '91 NA waiting on a 1mz-fe (v6) conversion with most of the wiring and the ECU (probably) comming from a 95 Camry. The car is also receiving a full '93 turbo brake and rear suspension conversion. Add to that stainless brake lines, a full TRD suspension bushing conversion, track friendly high performance brake pads, aftermarket springs, aftermarket dampers, aftermarket sway bars and high performance aftermarket wheels and tires. On top of that I plan to change the cars paint color and replace the seats with units I can run with a four point harness set-up.

It's still an MR2, but much of the original car will have been changed. It should still feel like an MR2, though, and have the same fun soul.

OT: My wallet hurts - can I go home now?

The main website would be here:

http://www.dsa.gov.uk/

although it only contains examples of the material - but you'll get the idea.

I drove the MR2 for the first time today and it really is a dream to drive!! Another silver MR2 almost exactly like mine pulled up right next to me at a junction............

but not having a full license yet, I aint taking no chances!!

hopefully have another spin in it tomorrow. God I love driving it

Haha, yeah... my new shell used to be black but someone had it painted dark purple. (pics soon) It will be repainted back to black to match the interior/frunk/engine bay.

At any rate i am back to driving status
