What is the reliability of the MR2? I have previously owned only a pickup, without question one of the single most reliable vehicles ever produced, but now i wanna have some fun.One things for sure, Its gonna be hard to find those pre '05 vehicles before Toyota sold out and screwed up their entire truck and sports car line. __________________ 1989 2wd 22R 170,000 mi.,Mallory Hyfire Igntion/coil,Magnacore wires,K/N filter,Silver-E Steer stablizr, Rear Swaybar,Edelbrock shocks,Cooper 205-70-14's/14X6 Steelies, LC Eng dbl. row time chain w/ cast iron oilpump, Porterfield R4S Discs/Carbon Kevlar drums, Ice Cold AC, Sony/Linear Pwr sound

Toyota never made an MR2 after 2005.... so you are in luck. You will never have to worry about buying a POS MR2 that was made after 2005 . What model and year are you looking at buying?
