Question Lug Nuts

My rims got too friendly with a curb and two of them are no longer good...

So I purchased some stock wheels w/ tires to put on to get the alignment all fixed up. No lug nuts though. I was wondering what type of lug nuts go with the stock ones and where I might find some cheap? I didn't know anything about lug nuts before, but apparently there are acorn? and mag style? All pretty confusing to me. Called a dealership and they say the stock wheels have a rubber washer type thing on them? $7 each x 20 = $140... Didn't think they were suppose to be that expensive so I searched on ebay and found cheaper stuff, but still don't know which ones would work with the wheels.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

On a side note, the rims I messed up were 17x7 RS Limited Concept Pros... discontinued

Lugs are pretty much lugs, the only real differences are cosmetic. Acorn style lugs have a cap on one end instead of being open all the way through, they are what is standard.

Shoot wayneabner@hotmail.com a note and see if he has the OE lugs. He has a car he's parting out.

Thanks for the offer OEMonkey! But I'm still confused if there are different type lug nuts?

I drew an awesome picture... with my crazy drawing skills:

Maybe I wasn't asking the right questions? Acorn style? Mag Style? Slanted sides vs not? Rubber washer? I'm just trying to piece together information here. So far the dealer says there are different types, and the MR2 people I've talked to say it really doesn't matter what type I use. But if you look at my picture, would the condition on the bottom right be an issue then?!

Sigh, I hate driving a minivan.

Found a thread that addressed this on the mr2oc forum. I should have checked their first before posting. The link, if anyone has similar questions, can be found under the topic:

"MR2 General Wheel Information - wheelspecs.com - MKI, II, & III "

Its a sticky in the Wheels/Tires Section.

http://www.mr2oc.com

To sum up: lug nuts do differ.

You're welcome.
But I'm confused as well. I offered to give you stock lug nuts that you needed for your stock rims but you're not sure if they're different type lug nuts.

Hahah, yea I was really confused because I was getting responses from people how lug nuts didn't matter, or rather the styling. Did some more research and figured it out. Stock rims + Stock lugs = happy, which I realized. I turned around and bought a whole set of them for $40 from the same guy who sold me the wheels....

I have no idea why that guy didnt' sell me the lugs as well... he even said he didn't have them!? Gah... hassles. Anyhoo I think I solved this matter... hopefully I'll get my car back this weekend from the shop... assuming all the parts came in.
