still hitting that rev limiter

J&H thanks for the info about that code 52. i put the new knock sensor in and the car is boosting 16psi now. but im still hitting some kind of limiter when the car gets to around 5200. it doesnt feel like fuel cut because i have the fcd on setting 7 and i think eliminates the fuel cut. the car idles at 500 rom. but when it gets to 5200 it sounds likes its at a higher rev than that but im not sure. the car is running great besides that. could it possibly be the coil that is goin bad and if so how much is a coil to replace. the ignition is in great shape now that i put in the new distributor and plugs cap and rotor. any one experience this problem im having.

does the hks fcd setting 7 raise fuel cut to 17 or does it eliminate it because i heard setting 9 on the fcd raises it to 17 so im confused now.

I'm not sure, but I think 9 sets it at 17 psi and 7 and eliminates it completely.

Glad the new knock sensor worked out for you. Have you done anything to resolve why you knocked so badly in the first place? If not, you are just looking at breaking another one I'm afraid. A friend of mine would not listen to me on this and he went through 3 sensors in 3 races

Can you rev past 5200 rpms without boost?

yeh the car is back in time now that is why the knock sensor blew. im gonna check the tach to see maybe if its off and im thinkin it might be the coil or the fuel filter that has gone badd but these are the only two things that i can think off
