Hi all.

Does anyone make replacement doors for '91 MR2's.

My car hasn't been driven for years and I am finding there is a fair bit of rust in the lower door area.

Doors are not something you want to have lightweight if you enjoy any sense of safety in your vehicle. The weakest part of the MR2's safety design is the doors from what I have seen.

That being said, Ask Sport in Japan does make carbon fiber doors that are incredibly lightweight and only cost about $4000.00 for the pair. I would only suggest using them with a ful lcage - maybe not even then.

If you are using the car for regular street use, I would just try locating some used doors.
