anyone know error code 47?...this is a 4 a '92(second gen jdm motor) mr2 turbo.

I don't know what the code is but I have a list of codes and probable symptoms at the shop. I will get back to you on that one tommorrow from work.

u might have trouble finding it because i've looked almost everywhere for this code, its not in any manual i looked at or error code chart i've seen on the interenet. but if you find it please tell me, it would help a great deal.

I have never seen that code listed.
But someone on imocUK said it's related to the temp sensor.

Hi there,
I had this error code after un plugging the engine compartment temp sensor so that the ic fan runns all the time.
After plugging in again and ecu reset the error code was gone!!
So i can only think that error 47 is related to engine temp sensor .

fixed the problem:

changed the ecu, and trouble shooted blinking check engine light. found out the inside of the timing belt was torn to shreds...at least i know the problem now.
