Looking for a GOOD knowledgable mechanic in Maryland

Greetings,
Can anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the Maryland, DC metropolitan area? I have two MR2's, (91 and 93), and I currently take them to Glen Burnie Toyota for major repairs ONLY. I'm having these problems with the 93: sqealing fan belt (I have tightened and replaced the belts), the power antenna will not retract even though I hear the motorized attempt, and the passenger door will not open by power button or manually. I need these repairs done, but do not want the dealer to work on it because of the inflated expense. Any suggestions?

Hey, sorry im not from maryland so I cant help you find anyone, but I will say this.. your question is very contradictory, there is no such thing as a KNOWLEDGABLE mechanic, they are usually just good at ripping u off..

Yo man im in PG county and I know a guy that knows a guy who is supposed to be good in general. He just rented a shop and would probably need some cash. The shop is not cheap. so he must have confidence in his skills and he owns 2 mr2's and have done some swaps. They offered to help me. My knowledge is now balljoints and clutches and some other top 10 problems with the MR2. I know the antenna problem is with the gear on the end of the antenna not the actual motor. I have the same problem and the only way to get it fixed is to buy the whole unit... or get it from someone of the forum or a junk yard. Give me some mail at datailwind@hotmail.com with the subject as MR2 and Ill give you the number.
