Unhappy Battery Light

Last night when driving home my battery light came on for a second then went out. This happened a couple of times again but alway would go out after a second or longer. It would sometimes flicker right when i would put on the brakes and sometimes it happened right when i accelerate.Heres the catch,i just replaced the alternator with a Toyota rebuilt one and it has a new battery. What also is strange is that at no time when the battery idiot light would come on did i suffer any loss of lights, radio, etc. As a matter of fact, when the light would come on i would quickly glance at the dashboard voltmeter which never moved during the flickering....strange. Um,anybody got any ideas as what could be the problem?? Loose battery cable maybe..? Recheck the connections for the alternator..?I'm up for suggestions, thanks.

Thumbs up Fixed it..

Hey MR2Bad,twas rather an easy fix,the connector to the post on the alternator was loose, there was an gap between the nuts connecting the cable to the alternator post which created a gap thus causing the light to go on and off. I didn't tighten the dang thing hard enough so i think that was causing the light to go on and off when accelerating, stopping. My mistake and I'm glad it was an easy find, thanks.
