Today i whent to make my own MBC(manual Boost controller).So I whent to Home depot and got a compresor valve and some 1/4 fittings and some small hose and of we go to the mechanic to install my home made MBC that works great ,no boost spikes because the MBC has its on lock to prevent it

it costed me $47 .Then we found out that my OEM By-pass valve had rust all over from like the inside and could not open so i HAD to buy a BoV (i dont like it)to solve the problem took it to the drag strip paid $10 to enter and did a 14.4 run at the 1/4 mile with 14 psi and FCD . Tonight was great I love my MR2 more than EVER

.This car is not my daily driver is like a once a week driver.

MBC=$47
Drag entry fee=$10
Running from 15.2 - 14.4 @ 1/4 mile=Priceless

Im sad that I dont have one =( Im also sad that I just got laid off and probably wont have one for a long time (unless someone wants to take payments from a trustworthy kid)

^???? if you are talking about the MBC that i made you only need a Air compressor valve and some fittings that convert the valve exits into hose entry.and some hose and conect them to the external wastegate.one side goes from the top of the wastegate and the other side to the turbine.

Hey Zero, is the MBC and FCD all the mods you have? Just curious because once i get my two back ill have MBC, FCD, Intake and intercooler. Juss tryin to get an idea of wher ill be at. Thanxs.

I got my MBC off koracing and it was garbage turst me i didn't install it wrong but when i backed the boost down as low as it could go i started spiking 21 psi

keep in mind this was about 6 months old but still. so i ordered a hallman and it works great! Don't get me wrong i love KOracing products but im not crazy about their boost controllers.

I will post pics of my MBC when i get a Digital cam or go over my friend's comp to scan them

.MRwho2 if you get all those mods you listed you will be in the mid 14's i have intake, Blow off,MBC 14psi,2.5 exhaust and some very heavy rims(wich i dont like cuz of weight)
