Mr-S question

hey i was reading modified mag and they said that you can do a complete carbon fiber wide body kit easily since all the body panels can be removed, but the main part of the article also said you can do a 3sgte swap... i was wondering if anyone has done the swap or knows how much labor/ fabbing would be involved in this project thanks

i think anything is possible. I mean if you can put a 4runner engine in an MR2, you can definitely fit a 3sgte in a MR-S. Anyways that would be pretty damn tight to see and know of a car like that. Because I think they should've made a turbocharged MR-S for the Midship fans looking to upgrade the body, but keep the same engine legend going.

for the mr-s they make a power enterprise kit you can get thru monkeywrench racing or a haas turbo kit. both with an intercooler make in the neighborhood of 220 at the wheels which is more than a bpu 3sgte. both of the kits were around $3k or so which would be way cheaper than buying a 3sgte clip and fabbing it in.

head over to spyderchat. its just for spyders and the people there are pretty understanding of newbies. they have tons of info. i just started on my research to get a mk3.

btw i saw that article. under the "real" jdm dream buildups.
