Good Deal?

I'm new here and awas looking to buy an mr2 and found this

Good deal? I was thinking about checking it out this weekend and was wondering about it. Also can you guys give me tips on what to look out for, if you think something is wrong or whatnot. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Well if its true that it has less than 50K miles then is a OK deal.There is already a forum that covered the "what to look for when buying a MR2".

Based on what info is in the ad I would definetly consider it a candidate. Just have to check it out to make sure it's not a basket case. I would be willing to lay odds that it's been 50k since the motor was rebuilt, not 50k on the clock. One of the questions you'll want to ask is how many miles are on the chassis.

careful with those. A lot of times you find people with the JDM swaps and they do hack jobs on the swaps. hack up the wiring, so if you ever have any electrical problems or anythinglike that your on your own with those things

If it is an original turbo hardtop with 50k on the clock.... I would pay that. Even if it was an original turbo with a jdm swap.... pretty good deal depending on the chassis mileage.
