ecu changes

If I put a ct20b turbo on my 3sgte, along with downpipe, intake, intercooler, and exhaust; would my ecu get messed up because of the changes in the ammount of air? Would it still be able to drive daily? If not how could I fix it?

The question you should be asking isn't "would my ECU get messed up" it's "would my ECU mess up my car". When you start making changes to the way the engine breathes it starts drifting outside the parameters the ECU is programmed to operate under.

The worst case is a lean condition that could damage the motor. In reality with those mods you probably just wouldn't be taking full advantage of your mods without some sort of engine management.

It is highly recommended that you read http://www.mrcontrols.com/index.html before you start adding power.
