The O2 sensor affects fueling at idle and cruise. If you are throwing that code, the ECU is just going to keep you safe by running rich during those times.

The negatives of driving around like that are:
1. Poor gas mileage
2. Fouling spark plugs

... otherwise, you could drive around like that with no big harm.
If you did it way too long, I imagine it could be bad for your cats (if you have them).

Thanks alot J&H. It'll be okay though because I have new wires, plugs, downpipe, and exhaust coming. Now I'll probably have to buy a new O2 sensor too. Thanks for everyone's help though.

The O2 sensor is very easy to change on the 3SGTE - it's very accessible.
Actually, if you have a new DP coming, it's even easier
