2nd Generation Suspension upgrade

I've decided to turn my recently purchased 91 5s-fe into my dedicated autocross car. Word on the street is that rear strut bars really make a difference on the mr2. Is there any validity to this statement?

I don't have any personal experience with it but I've also heard that from a number of sources.

You will find much better improvement from springs, struts and sway bars.
The rear strut bar does have a significant impact, although it is a good piece to have.

If you are going to be serious about autocross (or any racing for that matter),
you need to decide what class you are going to compete in. Then you make sure you build your car to rules for that class.

Just as a point of clarification; did you mean "the rear strut bar does not have a significant impact"?
