Well today i got to see a nice 1989 MR2 with 400 RWHP , im not sure what the hell he was running but let me tell you that thing was realy hating the snow..
I could not believe the way he just destroyed me on the road.I was not sure what it was until he opened the hood and i seen the custum turbo manifold and the s/c in there. He told me his car was good for 10sec without NOS but im sure its faster then that.He also told me about this guy he is looking for called the Fly he has a Mitsubishi engine in his car and pulls 10s too.man im not a big fan of the Mk1 but when its that powerfull its worth it ..

In a MR2 MK1 , im not what the engine code is but its a 1.3-1.6 litter Turbo or something.I have a link of a guy i know getting killed by the Fly and remember my friend has a MR2 Mk1 that does the 1/4 in the 13s.
here is the link of the video : http://inetsrv1.ctinformatique.qc.ca/qsr/street/mr2.asf

Only HKS Twin Charged car in Ontario belongs to a guy named J. Monzon. He's posted his car on the MR2 MK1 Archives and I don't know of anyone that's seen this car in person, just pictures and emails. JRP sold one HKS TwinCharged kit, I don't know where this kit ended up going. In the US, there are under 10 known HKS TwinCharger kits installed in MR2's, the quickest was Gerald SanAgustin's white car, and he was into the 12's. I haven't found any info on 10 second MR2 TwinCharged yet...

Keith Tokowitz's car is the car Gerald used to own, I've bought parts off Matt Ledbetter's ex-TC project that he sold after he completed it.
That is one nice setup but realy expensive , the guy i know here in Quebec has a custum setup that he just completed 1 1/2 months ago.BTW he is still having bug to try and fix ,what a project..

Sorry dude... Twin Charge set up is only good for 300rwhp. But, with a bigger turbo it can be done. And I have yet to see twincharge MR2's run 10's ... I know I have 2 buddies of mine that have them... Just look at it this way nice Viper Killer on the track.

LOL Gerald's ( your are talking about Gerald the one that works for TRD)car is done/gone was running on a motec thats what f#@ked him up. That what happen to his motor before he rebuilt it and sold it. This is what I was told by a close friend of Gerald.
You need your MAF to run the TwinCharge system. Basically a pipe came off and there was no throttle body controlling the flow of the turbo. Which end up blowing his motor. Gerald ran 12's in Palmdale ...
