5sfe ASAP

Hey everyone, about 2 weeks ago my MR2's engine has messed up. A pushrod broke, starters went bad, gasoline started to get into the crankcase and then it was pumped where only oil is supposed to go and u kno the rest...

Anyways, i need a complete 5sfe engine only as soon as possible. Does anyone kno any sites i can order one from? Ive tried j-spec auto but they havent returned my phone calls or emails.

Thank you guys.

I have two 5sfe motors that are in rebuildable condition.

You might wanna cruise the MR2 forums and look for motors there. That's how I ended up purchasing one of mine. Another good place to check is www.car-part.com.

Junkyard should have tons of it, from Camry and Celica. If not, they should have 3S-FE. Which ever one you take, just swap in the block and head. Keep and reuse as much parts from you old engine as possible.

yeah definately make sure you keep your old motor for parts if you buya celica, camry one you will most likely need to switch out intake manifold, exhaust manifold, metal coolant lines, water housing < dont know correct term but it sits on left side of the head, fuel rail, fuel line that runs from fuel rail, motor mounts, i think thats it hope this helps you out a little bit so your motor doesent end up like mine. Ive got a celica 5sfe and we found out after we had the motor trans in that we had to switch out more stuff wut a mess
