i got a noob Q. when u guys are driving, can u hear air being released when u shift or when ur waste gate is suppose to oppen? i can hear the turbo wind up and then a big swoosh of air being released at about 4000 rpm. i have a stock by pass valve but an external waste gate with a tdo6. iv never driven a turbo sport car so all this is new to me

both, the sound you hear at about 4000 should be the external wastegate. you should also hear air being released when you shift form the bypass valve

if you have enough upgrades, you can hear the BOV pretty good, even with the recirc line
