i absolutely love mine. $110 is reasonable if it includes shipping.

if I were you, i'd buy a replica kit from either ebay or mr2warehouse. They will give you the same short throw for a fraction of the price. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem with them.

also, look into getting some brass shifter cable bushings. www.twosrus.com has them for like $30.

I have the TRD shifter in both Jekyl and Hyde.

Hyde also has the brass bushings that Mike linked to.
Order those as well and tell the nice people at Twosrus that I sent you

there ya go. they help with shift feel, making it more direct. when i first installed mine, first was slightly harder to get into, but it became normal again after a day or two. they do make a pretty noticable difference, especially if your OEM ones are worn out.

The TRD short shifter actually improved my shifter feel. My old stock unit just felt worn out. I love it.

Does anyone have one of the knockoffs? What is the difference? I would rather get the TRD one, but I'm curous as to how much (if any) difference there is in the real one and the fake ones. No one is gonna know the difference, really.

I was looking at the shift kits they have on twosrus, also. Are those very good, or should I go for the TRD? Where is a good place to find a TRD one? I saw one on ebay for 115 (I think), but with ebay you never know for sure if it's the genuine article. Thanks!

Andy.
