Man, thats a hard question to answer. The EVO III's run about 267hp stock compared to the 200hp we have and is about 120lbs heavier, but makes that up with the 4 wheel drive and torque it has. And at 15psi w/only intake and exhaust you might need more upgrades to take him on. You're probably only at 200rwhp + or - 5hp and 240hp or less at the flywheel.

But like everyone says it really depends on the driver. Take my friend who has a 91 MR2 Turbo that raced my cousin and his 98 2.5 Impreza RS. My
Sorry guys I don't know what happened. I was still typing and all of a sudden a whole bunch of my replies show. Sorry!

But as I was saying. My cousin beats his car by a few car lengths. The MR2 had intake and MBC and the Impreza had a muffler to the stock exhaust system. "It all depends on the driver".

My answer-Smoke that EVO!!!

make sure to at least run race gas.

one hot day at the track this past summer sent the ecu into safe mode. even though it was set at 15psi, i couldnt go past 11psi.

running 17psi in the bahamas is going to be bad on a stock ic.

Wow! Are you really risking your car blowing up to win a race? Damn, good luck.

As much as i love toyotos, the Evo would probably do damage. Good luck.

Congrats on the kill. It was like I said it really depends on the driver. It was good that you didn't take the 2nd race, because he would've owned you on that run. But it still is pretty fishy that he missed 2nd gear, how in the world could you do that? Dumbass!!!

Hey Hey Hey. Easy there cowboy. If its easy to miss a gear at all, you shouldn't be driving a manual car in the first place. And why are you sticking up for a guy who wanted to fight you?

I would have raced him again if I knew he messed up his shifts. A win is only a win when its completely legitmate, as in, the other guy cant say shit.
