What now???

As you may or may not recall, my passenger side window does not work. All signs pointed to the motor being no good. I finally got a good deal on a motor and put my old man to work on it last week. (He's retired and bored) He put in the new motor, same thing happens. When you press the switch for the passenger side window, the driver's side DOOR locks!!! What the hell?

It's not the motor, it's not the fuses, it's most likely not the switch, b/c the driver's side was out of the car at the time. We're thinking bad ground somewhere. Where would we find the culprit? The window used to work. Then it started to work really slowly, but still normal if you used the pass side switch. Now it doesn't work at all.

I'm gonna look at the BGB and see if I can find the ground wires, but if any of you guys know anything that would help, please let me know. It's starting to get warm outside and it's gonna be t-top season soon. Thanks for any help!

Anybody have any ideas??

I heard that the switches are notorious for going bad, is this what happens, or do they just stop working alltogether?

I looked at the online BGB and got dizzy. I officially do not know how to read a wiring diagram. If anyone has any help at all, I would really appreciate it. I'm gonna try to get this worked out this weekend, so I need some info. Thanks again.
