First i just want to say hello my name is Joe. Now i will get right down to it. I found a 87 NA t-top for sale thats only 650 bucks. the only thing is that it needs a new clutch. I've searched the forum and didn't finde much on an 87. I did find some links to high perforamce clutches. But right now i'm thinking about just geting an OE replacement. So what i'm asking is Do you guys think this is a good buy. I'm going to look at the car tonight is there any thing that i should look out for. I don't know to much about the MR2 but i'm reading and learning so any info would help. Thanks Joe

Welcome to the board Joe.

The MR2s are awesome cars. The MK1s (85-89) are particularly fun.
$650 is af ine price.

The MK1s tend to get a lot of rust at our end of the country.
Check out underneath the floors on boths sides to make sure there are no big holes.

As with any $650 used car, you can expect that it is going to need some work - especially in the first year.
