Pics of the New* MR2!!

*Not actually new.

Well as you all know my last MR2 had a territorial dispute with an extremely large truck, and here is what emerged from that whole mess.

Im planning on having it painted back to black (its original color). But im still having a hell of time locating the stock boost control solenoid.

actually, purple is my favorite color. So Dane, what did you do with the other 2? I thought you were refurbishing it?

Haha, you bet im excited ish, i just recently gutted the interior, trunk and frunk. It is pretty quick i took it to the track, with moderate results, look for them in a new thread soon!!

Russ,as for my other 2, im keeping it in my parents driveway until i get the brake booster and a few other parts off of it, then ill be parting out what is still good on the car. (and yes it is purple) EDIT: i realized that i didnt exactly answer your question, no im not refurbishing my other MR2, i thought we were until i got a second (and more accurate) assessment of the damage which was right at 10K.

thanks for the comments everyone! Ill take some pics of my instruments at night soon (one of my favorite things about the car).

well, first off, the t-tops are intended (i think) to go behind your seats. there are little straps that will buckle them in place.

But the interior of my car is gutted also, so i have to keep the ttops on or leave them at home . oh well, we must make sacrifices for the gods of weight.

yeah, love the gauge cluster.. is that a boost controller or turbo timer on the steering column? and is the boost gauge inside the cluster or in front of it? i can't tell... it looks great whatever the case....

On the steering column is the turbo timer, the boost controller is in the ash tray and the boost guage is outside of the cluster (mounted inverted and upside down so that it is right side up)

More pics and updates are on their way soon. Gutted pics, timeslips and more!
