Powder-coating

Does anyone know how well powder-coating stands up to heat? I recently got my turbo rebuilt and when I got it back; it looks like they black powder-coated the exhaust part of the turbo. Will it take the heat, or will it just burn off?

Vinly is only baked on at a couple of hundred degrees (400 ro so).
Your EGT's will be well over 1000.

I would find out what they put on it.
There are other coatings (not powder) that are good for exhaust parts.

chances are it's not going to withstand the heat of your exhaust. so it will probably burn off
