I just had mine replaced last summer for ~$250. Dunno if glass prices are different.

3 options here
1.) pay for it yourself-about $225.00 -$250.00
2.) insurance: they pay-$350.00 plus you pay your deductable.
3.) There are companies that will replace it for you for nothing and work it out with your insurance company. insurance companies save money this way.

I have gotten a new wind sheild for all three of my Toyotas thru a company called Cascade Glass. they came to my house, replaced the windsheild and it didn't cost me a dime. You must hace full coverage insurance with a $200,00 deductable or less. and beware of the rear window replacement coet. I costed it out and found three companies that would do it . the prices were as follows.$1400.00 $1100.00 and $800.00 of course, I went with the $800.00 one..

This isn't true everywhere. It's illegal for glass companies to pad the bill enough to cover the deductable in MN now.

well, it is here-for now. and I hope it doesn't change. I seem to go thru windshields like crazy with all the big rigs on the roads here...
